Orthopaedic clinics · Local SEO
Show up on Maps for the fracture that walks in after dark.
Local SEO for an orthopaedic clinic is getting into the Maps results when someone nearby searches for a bone doctor, a fracture clinic or a knee specialist. GullySales sets up the Business Profile for each place the surgeon actually sees patients, and keeps the clinic's name, address and phone identical on every directory.
A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What local SEO means
Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

Sales and marketing for orthopaedic clinics, the overview.
Last updated 6 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.
For orthopaedic clinics
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“The surgeon consults at more than one address”
Your own clinic in the morning, a hospital OPD in the afternoon and a scan centre on Saturdays. Patients go to the wrong one when the listings do not say which days apply where.
“A fracture patient chooses on distance and on open now”
Someone with a swollen ankle picks the nearest clinic that shows open, with X-ray on site. Holiday hours left unchanged send them straight past your door.
“Practo and JustDial carry different phone numbers”
A former receptionist's mobile still sits on one directory and rings a phone nobody answers. Google sees two clinics where there is one.
What we do
What we deliver for orthopaedic clinics.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
A Business Profile for each place you see patients
Your own clinic listed as the clinic, and the surgeon listed as a practitioner where Google's current rules allow, with consulting days written plainly.
Result: A patient knows which address to go to on which day.
Categories and services in orthopaedic terms
The main category chosen with care, and fracture care, knee arthroscopy, plaster and joint injections listed as services in the words patients use.
Result: The listing matches what people nearby search for.
Directory clean-up across Practo, JustDial and others
Name, address, phone and timings corrected on each directory, and duplicate or abandoned listings claimed or reported.
Result: Every directory sends the caller to a phone that is answered.
Photographs a patient on crutches checks first
The entrance, the ramp or lift, the waiting area, the X-ray room and the plaster room, photographed as they really are.
Result: A patient who cannot climb stairs knows whether they can get in.
Holiday and after-hours timings kept correct
Special hours set before festivals and public holidays, and a plain line on whether fresh injuries are seen late in the evening.
Result: Nobody drives to a closed shutter with a broken wrist.
Maps position checked against the baseline
Where the clinic appears for fracture, knee and spine searches in nearby localities, compared with the position recorded at the start.
Result: You can tell whether the listing is moving.
How the result is measured
- Map pack ranking
- Local search visibility
- Enquiries by locality
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
What Google weighs here
How a patient nearby picks a bone doctor on Maps, and what to set right first.
- Relevance: the category and the services
- Pick the main category that describes the place, such as orthopaedic clinic, and add fracture care, arthroscopy and joint injections as services. Check Google's current category list before changing it.
- Distance: the pin and the entrance
- Put the pin on the clinic door, not the middle of the building or the hospital gate. A patient with a fractured ankle uses the map to find the ramp.
- Prominence: recent reviews and your replies
- Recent reviews and the replies to them count. Ask once the plaster is off or at the first walk after surgery, and answer each in a line that never names the treatment.
- Practo, JustDial and the hospital's own website
- Claim Practo and JustDial, and check that the hospital where the surgeon operates lists the same clinic name and number. Remove old staff mobiles wherever they appear.
- Name, address and phone, letter for letter
- Write the clinic name as on the signboard, the address as on the registration certificate and one main number. Copy the same text into every directory, floor number included.
- Hours that match the X-ray room
- If the X-ray room shuts before the doctor leaves, say so in the profile. A patient with a suspected fracture needs to know whether the film can be taken on the spot.

Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
- You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
- You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.
How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Free audit call
90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.
After the call
Written, scored report
Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
How the work runs for orthopaedic clinics
- 1
Assess
We look at where consultations come from, how fast WhatsApp reports get a reply, the Maps listing for each consulting address, and how many patients advised surgery went quiet.
- 2
Fix the reply
A named person for calls and WhatsApp, replies that offer a slot without diagnosing, and a register of every enquiry by condition.
- 3
Write the condition pages
Pages for knee, hip, shoulder, spine, fractures and sports injuries, with the surgeon, the hospitals and the report route on each.
- 4
Bring patients in
Maps, reviews asked at the right point in recovery, letters to referring GPs and physios, and ads for procedures where the surgeon has theatre time.
- 5
Follow up and measure
Calls to patients advised surgery and to those due for review, with the reason recorded for each, set against the baseline.
Proof
What happened when owners fixed this.
Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
