Orthopaedic clinics · Video marketing

Film what the surgery week involves, and leave the before-and-after out.

Video marketing for an orthopaedic clinic is short films that answer a patient's practical questions, such as what happens on admission day or how to get out of bed after a hip replacement. GullySales plans and edits the videos with your surgeon and physiotherapist, and keeps them free of outcome claims and of patients filmed without consent.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What video marketing means

Video marketing is using short videos, such as a product demonstration or a customer walkthrough, to explain your business on social media, your website and Google listings. GullySales scripts, shoots and edits these videos around the questions buyers ask before they visit or call.

For orthopaedic clinics

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A walking-patient clip is a result claim”

A clip of a patient climbing stairs soon after surgery tells the viewer this will happen to you. Rules on doctors' advertising and testimonials restrict that, and they vary between councils.

  • “Theatre footage frightens the people deciding”

A drill on bone gets views and loses the elderly patient who was already scared. A plastic joint model or an animation explains the same thing.

  • “The surgeon talks too fast and too technically on camera”

A long talk on implant designs loses a family that wanted to know about the hospital stay. One question per video, answered in plain words, holds them.

What we do

What we deliver for orthopaedic clinics.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A video list from the OPD's most asked questions

Questions such as how long in hospital and when can I drive, each matched to a short video with the surgeon or physio answering.

Result: Every video answers something a family asks.

  2. Explainers with models or animation

A plastic knee model or a licensed animation to show what is replaced or repaired, in place of footage from theatre.

Result: The procedure is clear without frightening anyone.

  3. A physiotherapist's after-surgery series

Getting out of bed, using a walker and managing a step, filmed in your own physio room for your patients to follow at home.

Result: Patients repeat the exercises the way they were taught.

  4. A walk-through of the clinic and its access

Parking, the ramp, the lift, the X-ray room and the waiting area, filmed in one take for families bringing an elderly parent.

Result: A family knows the clinic is easy to reach on crutches.

  5. Consent forms for anyone on camera

Written consent from any patient or staff member who appears, kept on file with what the video may be used for.

Result: No patient appears without having agreed to it.

  6. Videos placed where patients look

On the procedure pages, the Business Profile, YouTube and WhatsApp, each with one action: send your report or book a consultation.

Result: Every view has a next step.

How the result is measured

  • Views
  • Watch time
  • Enquiries traced to video

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Videos worth making

Videos an orthopaedic clinic can make, and the one action each should lead to.

The surgeon on one question
One question per video, such as whether a meniscus tear can settle without surgery, answered in plain words and kept short. Put it on the matching page with a button to send the MRI.
What admission day looks like
Film the route from the hospital front desk to the ward, the checks before surgery and where the family waits. Families of elderly patients worry about this more than the operation.
After-surgery exercises from your physio
Your physiotherapist shows bed exercises and walker use in your own physio room. Share it with your patients on WhatsApp after discharge, not as an advert.
A patient's story, only with written consent
If a patient wants to speak about the clinic, take written consent and keep to the experience of care, not the result. Rules on testimonials vary by council, so ask yours first.
The clinic and how to reach it
A walk from the parking to the consulting room, showing the ramp, the lift and the X-ray room. Add it to the Maps profile alongside the directions.
What not to film
No theatre footage of bone work, no before-and-after X-rays of identifiable patients, and no clip that promises walking by a given day. Leave out anyone who has not signed consent.

Who it is for

This is written for these orthopaedic clinics.

  • Joint replacement centres
  • Sports injury and arthroscopy clinics
  • Spine clinics
  • Fracture and trauma clinics on highways and ring roads
  • Paediatric orthopaedic practices
  • Orthopaedic nursing homes and day-care surgery units

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for orthopaedic clinics

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where consultations come from, how fast WhatsApp reports get a reply, the Maps listing for each consulting address, and how many patients advised surgery went quiet.

  2. 2

    Fix the reply

A named person for calls and WhatsApp, replies that offer a slot without diagnosing, and a register of every enquiry by condition.

  3. 3

    Write the condition pages

Pages for knee, hip, shoulder, spine, fractures and sports injuries, with the surgeon, the hospitals and the report route on each.

  4. 4

    Bring patients in

Maps, reviews asked at the right point in recovery, letters to referring GPs and physios, and ads for procedures where the surgeon has theatre time.

  5. 5

    Follow up and measure

Calls to patients advised surgery and to those due for review, with the reason recorded for each, set against the baseline.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we shoot these on a phone?
Yes, for most of them. A recent phone, a clip-on microphone and a quiet consulting room are enough for the surgeon and the physio. Bring in a crew only for a clinic walk-through you will use for years.
Should the videos be in English or the local language?
Make the after-surgery exercises in the language your patients speak at home, with subtitles. The surgeon's explainers can be in English with local-language subtitles, or recorded twice if he is comfortable.
What consent do we need before filming a patient?
Written consent naming the video, where it will be shown and for how long, signed before filming. The patient can withdraw it, and the video comes down if they do. Keep other patients out of the background.
Can we use a film song as background music?
No. Film and popular music is copyrighted, and platforms mute or remove videos that use it. Use music licensed for the purpose, or none at all, since a surgeon speaking clearly needs no soundtrack.
Is an orthopaedic surgeon allowed to advertise?
Within limits set by medical councils, which differ by state and change. Words such as best or painless, discounts and any promise of a result are the usual problems. We write pages and ads that describe the procedure and the surgeon's qualifications, and you check them against your own council's current rules before they go live.
Can we show a patient walking after a knee replacement?
Ask your council or adviser first. A video or photograph of a result works as a testimonial, and doctors' advertising rules restrict those. If it is allowed, take written consent for that specific use. We would sooner film the physio room and the surgeon explaining the stay.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
