Payment and fintech companies · Reputation management

Answer the seller whose settlement is held before the review becomes a thread.

Reputation management for a payment or fintech company is watching and replying to what merchants, shoppers and borrowers say on Google, app stores and forums, and fixing the process behind each complaint. GullySales sets up replies your compliance officer has cleared and a route for every kind of complaint.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For payment and fintech companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Most one-star reviews are about held money”

A seller whose payment is under review writes in anger, and a reply that says we value your feedback reads as a brush-off.

  • “Shoppers review you for a shop's mistake”

A customer whose order was cancelled sees your name on the receipt and posts about you. Without a line saying you process payments for the shop, you carry it.

  • “Scam posts use your name”

Fake support numbers and phishing links in your name appear in search and on social, and a reader cannot tell them from you.

What we do

What we deliver for payment and fintech companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A watch on the places complaints appear

Google, app stores, X, Reddit, consumer complaint sites and seller groups searched for your name, with a named owner and a log.

Result: Nothing about you sits unseen.

  2. A reply guide by kind of complaint

Held settlement, KYC rejected, refund not received, failed payment, impersonation and support not answering, each with a reply that gives the next step.

    Result: Replies stop being improvised.

  3. A route behind every reply

Each public complaint opens a case with a person in support, risk or compliance, so the reply is followed by an answer in private.

Result: The reviewer gets a real answer, not only a comment.

  4. Replies cleared by compliance

Wording agreed in advance for what may be said about a merchant's account, which is very little, so no reply discloses account or personal data.

Result: No reply creates a bigger problem.

  5. A scam-awareness page and a takedown route

A page listing your real contact channels and how to report impersonation, with steps for reporting fake pages and numbers to the platforms and, where needed, the authorities.

Result: Readers can tell you from the impostor.

  6. Review requests that follow the rules

A request sent to every merchant once their first settlement is credited, with a link to the platform and no filter on who is asked.

Result: Reviews reflect all merchants, not a chosen few.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to do with each review

The kinds of review a payment company gets, how to reply, and what to fix inside.

Settlement held or delayed
Reply that a case is open and give a way to reach a named team, without discussing the merchant's account in public. Fix inside: tell merchants earlier why a review began.
KYC rejected or stuck
Reply with the document list and a contact for the application. Fix inside: name the missing paper in the rejection message, not just that the application failed.
Refund not received by a shopper
Say you process payments for the shop, point to the shop and explain how the bank reverses a failed debit. Fix inside: add a help page and a link on the receipt.
Scam or fake support number
Reply with your official contact channels and how to report the fraud, and report the fake page to the platform. Fix inside: publish a scam-awareness page.
Support did not answer
Apologise plainly, ask for details by a private route and follow through. Fix inside: find out who owns the queue and what the customer was told.
A merchant praises the product
Thank them and leave it there. Check with compliance before quoting or advertising a review, since rules for financial services can limit it. Never pay for one or choose who is asked.

Who it is for

This is written for these payment and fintech companies.

  • Payment gateways and aggregators for online sellers
  • UPI and QR providers with soundboxes and card machines for shops
  • Prepaid wallet and card issuers working with a partner bank
  • Digital lenders and buy-now-pay-later apps working with a bank or NBFC
  • B2B payment, vendor payout and payables platforms
  • Payroll, expense and corporate card tools for companies
  • Cross-border payment and remittance platforms
  • Neobanks and current account apps for startups and small businesses

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for payment and fintech companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit we trace where last quarter's live merchants came from, how many signups reached a first payment, and what a developer finds when searching for your documentation.

  2. 2

    Make trust checkable

A trust page, a rate page and policy copy your compliance head has approved, so a cautious buyer can verify you without a call.

  3. 3

Clear the path to the first live payment

Signup stages recorded, missing documents chased by a named person, and a reply routine for merchants who write in stuck.

  4. 4

    Bring in the right buyers

Documentation, comparison pages and campaigns aimed at the developers, finance heads and the accountants and agencies who choose for them.

  5. 5

    Count live merchants

Merchants live, first payments taken and enquiries by source, read against the baseline, with the channels that bring only signups cut.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we ask merchants for reviews after a good settlement?
Yes, if you ask everyone at the same moment and never select happy ones, offer rewards or ask for a rating. Check the platform's current rules. A request to all merchants after their first credited settlement is simple and fair.
Should we reply in Hindi when the review is in Hindi?
Yes, where someone on your team writes it well. A reply in the reviewer's language shows a person read it, and gives other sellers a better picture of your support.
A review names one of our support staff. What do we do?
Reply without naming the person, thank or apologise on behalf of the team, and deal with the matter inside. Naming staff in a public reply can expose them to abuse.
Can we get a false review removed?
You can report it to the platform with evidence, such as no matching merchant record, but removal is the platform's decision and cannot be promised. Reply politely in the meantime, since readers may see the review first.
Can we say 'instant settlement' or 'zero fees' on the website?
Only if it is true in every case and your compliance head has approved it. A merchant who reads 'instant' and then waits on a hold feels misled, and the rules on advertising financial products change. Say what happens, when, and what is excluded, and keep the evidence for each claim.
Do we need to publish our rate card?
It is your decision, but a seller comparing providers drops the ones with no number anywhere. A page that explains what each fee covers works better than a bare table, and it stops a forwarded sheet from being the only version in circulation. Larger merchants can still agree their own terms on a call.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
