Fill the batch with people who will sit the exam, not people who watched one demo.
It is ten at night on a Tuesday. A project manager in Whitefield has watched your PMP overview video twice and is typing into the WhatsApp number on your website.
A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.
In one paragraph
Marketing for a professional certification institute means putting your batches in front of the graduate or working professional who has already decided to sit ACCA, CFA, PMP or a similar exam. Admissions sales turns a demo-class attendee into a paid enrolment. GullySales records every enquiry in one place, fixes the reply, and follows up until the fee is paid or the candidate says no.
Does the course give the contact-hours certificate? Are the weekend classes live or recorded? Is the exam fee included? The message sits unread until the front desk opens the phone next morning, by which time she has asked two other institutes the same questions and one of them has replied.
A certification candidate is not choosing a college for four years. They are choosing a route to one exam while holding down a job, and they compare institutes within days. What fills a batch is a reply that answers the three questions, a demo class that ends with a clear next step, and a phone call to the person who attended but did not pay. A wall of pass-rate posters and certifier logos does nothing for a candidate nobody called back.

How buyers decide
How professional certification institutes are chosen.
A candidate starts with the credential, not the institute. A fresher in Kochi settles on ACCA or US CMA because a senior found a job in Dubai. A manager in Pune settles on PMP because a promotion list mentions it. They search the credential with a city, then add words like weekend, online or fees, watch YouTube explainers, and read LinkedIn and Reddit threads where a past student's honest comment outweighs any advertisement.
Three things settle the shortlist: what the fee really covers, how the classes fit around work, and whether the institute is who it says it is. Candidates ask whether you are an authorised training partner of the certifying body, whether your trainers hold the credential themselves, and whether the course fee includes mock exams, because the registration, exam and membership fees go to the body separately. The body's own site lists its partners, and candidates look.
The person paying is not always the person studying. A manager approving reimbursement wants an invoice with GST and a course outline. A parent paying for a graduate's ACCA wants to know what happens if the student stops after two papers. Batches also follow exam windows the body sets, so an enquiry that arrives after a window has closed gets the next batch date, not a discount.
The problem
What usually goes wrong for professional certification institutes.
What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.
“Enquiries arrive at night and are answered the next day”
Working professionals message after office hours. By the time the desk replies, they have asked two other institutes and booked a demo with the one that answered first.
“Nobody calls the people who stayed to the end of the demo”
A full Zoom room joins the free session and the registration list gets one bulk message. The candidates who stayed to the last minute and typed a question in the chat are the buyers, and the chat is never exported.
“Our pass-rate claim draws questions”
A banner with a percentage and no exam session, no cohort and no definition of a pass reads as a sales trick. Certifying bodies and consumer protection rules both take such claims seriously.
“Candidates ask about the fee and hear three answers”
Course fee, study material, mock exams, exam registration, annual membership, retakes and GST get quoted differently by different counsellors. The candidate adds them up wrongly or assumes the worst.
“Students stop after the first paper and we find out at the refund”
Enrolment is counted when the fee is paid. Nobody tracks who booked an exam, so a candidate who drifts away is noticed only when the refund request arrives.
“Our reviews come from refund disputes”
Reviews on Google and Quora are written during batch changes and refund arguments, while candidates who cleared the exam rarely post. The page a prospect reads shows your worst term.
What we do
What we do for professional certification institutes.
Everything included for professional certification institutes, and the result each part is there to produce.
One enquiry record across WhatsApp, calls, demo classes and walk-ins
Enquiries from the website, the Business Profile, webinar sign-ups and the front desk entered once, with the certification asked about, the candidate's degree or employer and the exam they are aiming for.
Result: A counsellor sees what was asked before dialling.
A page for every certification and level you teach
Eligibility as the body states it, syllabus outline, batch dates, mode, faculty credentials and a fee section that separates what you charge from what the body charges.
Result: A candidate finds the answer without messaging the desk.
One fee sheet every counsellor quotes
Course fee, study material, mock exams, the body's registration, exam and membership fees, retake terms and GST, on one sheet with the date it was last checked.
Result: A candidate hears the same total from anyone they ask.
Demo-class follow-up built from the attendance sheet
Registrants, attendees and those who stayed to the end separated, each with a call or WhatsApp message written for where they dropped off, and the chat questions attached to their names.
Result: Nobody who stayed to the end goes uncalled.
Results claims set out so they can be checked
Pass figures stated with the exam session, the number who sat and how a pass was counted, drawn from your own records. Student names and photographs appear only with written consent.
Result: A claim holds up when a candidate or the body asks for its basis.
Enrolments reported against the baseline
Enquiries by source and certification, reply time, demo attendance, paid enrolments and students who booked their first exam, compared with the baseline recorded during the free audit.
Result: You know which source filled the batch and which only filled the inbox.
How the result is measured
- Enquiries by source and certification
- Reply time to a message sent after office hours
- Demo registrations, attendance and attendees who stayed to the end
- Demo attendees who became paid enrolments
- Students who booked their first exam
- Refund requests and withdrawals before the first paper
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

- WhatsApp marketingPut the batch, the fee and the demo link on WhatsApp, where a candidate already asks.

- Follow-up systemsCall the one who stayed to the end of the demo before the one who never joined.
- Reputation managementLet the candidate who reads your worst review find a reply that holds up.

- Buyer journeyKnow what a candidate asks at each stage, from the first exam search to the first paper.
Worth a page and a campaign of their own
ACCA for B.Com and BBA graduates and final-year students · US CMA and CPA for finance graduates aiming at roles abroad · CFA and FRM for analysts and finance graduates · PMP and Agile certification for IT project managers · Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt for operations teams · AWS and Azure certification for working developers · Weekend and evening batches for working professionals · Corporate batches bought by employers' L&D teams · Revision and mock-test batches before an exam window
Priority campaigns
Campaigns for what professional certification institutes most want to sell.
Each one planned around when your buyers decide, and measured against the baseline.
Batch-start enrolment push
Search ads, LinkedIn and WhatsApp replies lined up before each batch start date, with the last day to join and the seats left stated truthfully on the credential page.
Result: A candidate comparing batches sees dates and seat counts that are real.
Free demo and webinar series
A demo session for each credential, with a registration page, a reminder, a recording for those who missed it and a call afterwards from the counsellor who knows the questions asked.
Result: Registrants become people who have seen how you teach.
Weekend batches for working professionals
Pages and ads for staff in the office clusters around you, such as Whitefield, Hinjewadi or Gachibowli, answering the questions about class timing, recordings and leave before an exam.
Result: A manager can see whether the classes fit around the job.
Graduate pathway campaign for ACCA, US CMA and CPA
Talks and pages for final-year students and their parents, showing the papers, the body's fees and the exemptions a degree may earn, as the body itself states them.
Result: A parent understands the whole route before paying anything.
Employer batch outreach
A one-page batch offer for HR and L&D heads: the credential, headcount, classroom or online, an invoice with GST and a progress sheet for the sponsoring manager.
Result: An L&D head can ask for a batch without a long call.
Beyond search
Where we reach buyers of professional certification institutes, beyond Google.
Search matters, but it is rarely the only way this industry's buyers find a supplier.
HR and L&D heads at nearby employers
A batch outline, a sample invoice and a progress sheet for the sponsoring manager, carried to the HR heads of the tech parks and finance firms around you. Each conversation is logged against the company.
Final-year talks at commerce and management colleges
A short session on the route from degree to ACCA, US CMA or CPA, with a sign-in sheet that enters each student with the college named as the source.
Your own passed students
Candidates who cleared an exam are the best introduction to their colleagues. A note from the faculty asks for introductions, and each is recorded under the student who made it. Check the certifying body's partner terms before offering any fee concession for a referral.
Local chapters, LinkedIn groups and meetups
Talks by your faculty on one exam topic at professional chapters and meetups, with a registration link coded to the event so the enquiries it brings can be counted.
Practising finance and project leaders
CFOs, project directors and quality heads who hire people with your credentials, invited to speak to a batch. Their name on the invitation reaches the candidates they would hire.

Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
- You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
- You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.
How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Free audit call
90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.
After the call
Written, scored report
Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
How the work runs for professional certification institutes
- 1
Audit the last batch
We trace where each enrolment came from, how long the desk took to reply, how many demo attendees paid and how many students booked their first exam, using your fee register and attendance sheets.
- 2
Fix the record and the reply
One enquiry record, one fee sheet, saved WhatsApp replies for eligibility, mode and fees, and a named person for the messages that arrive at night.
- 3
Rebuild the certification pages
A page per credential and level with eligibility, fees split between you and the body, batch dates and the credentials your trainers hold.
- 4
Bring candidates in ahead of each batch
Search, LinkedIn, webinars and employer outreach set around each credential's batch dates and exam windows, with budget moved towards whichever source brings paid enrolments.
- 5
Follow through to the first exam
Every demo attendee followed to a paid fee or a clear no, and every enrolled student tracked to an exam booking, measured against the baseline taken at the start.
Proof

Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
One office, and we say so
Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Option 4
Guidance for your own team or agency

- How families and companies choose between institutesA parent, a student, a certification candidate and an HR head each pick an institute differently. This post sets out who decides, what each one checks and what your admissions desk should have ready.
- How certification institutes answer the pass-rate questionA candidate asks your pass rate before paying. Answer with the session, the cohort and the definition, or say what you can show instead. A bare percentage on a banner does more harm than silence.
