Remodelling and home improvement contractors · Content marketing

Answer the questions a homeowner is too embarrassed to ask on the phone.

Content marketing for a remodelling company answers what a homeowner wants to know before calling: what it costs, how long they live without a kitchen, who pulls the permit. GullySales takes those answers from your own jobs and turns them into pages, guides and emails that carry a long decision.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the free audit onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For remodelling and home improvement contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The living-through-it questions are the ones nobody answers

Where do we cook for eight weeks, is the dog safe, can we stay in the house at all. Contractors answer none of this, so homeowners ask each other.

  • Your allowances are the content

A homeowner has no idea what a tile allowance is until a change order lands. Explaining allowances, selections and selection deadlines before the contract prevents most of the arguments and most of the bad reviews.

  • A project story beats a cost guide for the buyer who is ready

The cost guide catches people at the start. The written-up job with its budget band, the surprise behind the wall and the finished room catches the one about to sign.

What we do

What we deliver for remodelling and home improvement contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A question list taken off your own site visits

What homeowners really ask while you are standing in their kitchen, collected for a few weeks and turned into the publishing plan.

Result: You write what your buyers are already asking.

  2. Cost and timeline guides by room

What a kitchen, bath, addition or basement runs in your market, what moves that number, and how long each takes from first call to final walkthrough.

Result: Enquiries arrive with expectations you can work with.

  3. Project write-ups from finished jobs

Each build written up with what the homeowner wanted, what was found behind the wall, the budget band and how the schedule actually went.

Result: The reader stops wondering whether you have done this before.

  4. The living-through-a-build guide

One document covering dust, pets, cooking, parking, working from home and what a bad week looks like, handed over before the contract is signed.

Result: Fewer surprises turn into change orders and reviews.

  5. Every piece reused across channels

One write-up cut into a project page, a social caption, an email for the follow-up list and a section of the proposal.

Result: Writing once pays four times.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for remodelling and home improvement contractors

  1. 1

    Assess

The free audit goes through last year's enquiries. How many became a consultation, how many became a design agreement, and what happened to all the rest?

  2. 2

    Qualify earlier

A budget conversation on the phone, wording that is honest about what work in your market costs, and the design agreement explained before the visit.

  3. 3

    Show the work

Project photography, room by room pages, and a portfolio a homeowner can browse by style and by budget.

  4. 4

    Follow up for months

A written sequence for enquiries that are not ready, with a date against every one and nothing left to memory.

  5. 5

    Go back to past clients

Completed projects contacted about the rooms still undone, and referrals asked for at handover instead of hoped for.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is writing articles worth it for a contractor?
Only where they answer buying questions. Ten pages on cost, timeline, permits, allowances and living through a build beat fifty posts about design trends. Write what you get asked standing in somebody's kitchen.
How do we produce this when everyone is on a job?
Record instead of writing. Twenty minutes talking through a finished project on the drive home gives you the project page, the caption and the email. Somebody else turns it into words and you approve it.
How do we ask about budget without scaring people off?
Give a number first, then ask. Say what the kitchens you build in this market start at, then ask whether that is the range they had in mind. It gets an honest answer far more often than asking what their budget is. The people who walk away at that point were never going to sign.
Should we charge for design?
Most remodellers should, once they have a portfolio worth paying for. A design fee filters out the shoppers and pays for the drawings, and crediting part of it against the build makes it easier to accept. If you are new and have little to show, free design may still be buying you the work you need to photograph.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
