Remodelling and home improvement contractors · Local SEO

Your map pack reaches five suburbs, and you quote in twenty.

Local SEO for a remodelling company is the Maps listing and the town pages deciding which suburbs see you when somebody searches for a contractor near them. GullySales sets the profile up properly, hides a home address, and builds the outer towns out one at a time.

A market cross in a small town square: a stepped stone cross of four worn tiers standing in a ring of cobbles, a coil of stall rope left on the bottom step, a chalk pitch marked out on the stones and a chalk arrow pointing in from the nearest lane

For remodelling and home improvement contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Maps ranks from your pin, not from your service area

Listing twenty towns on the profile does not place you in twenty map packs. The pin decides, and the outer suburbs are won with pages and finished projects.

  • A showroom changes the whole calculation

A remodeller with an address open to the public can rank where a van-based competitor cannot. If you have one, it belongs at the centre of the plan rather than on the contact page.

  • The crew's phone is the cheapest tool you own

A profile getting project photographs every week from the suburbs you are working in behaves differently from one last touched two years ago.

What we do

What we deliver for remodelling and home improvement contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A Business Profile set up for a contractor

Primary category chosen against the room you want most, service areas set, the address hidden if you work from home, and hours that match reality.

Result: You appear in the map pack for the work you want.

  2. A page for each town, built one at a time

Town by town, with the projects finished there, the neighbourhoods named and the local permit process explained in plain words.

Result: You compete in suburbs your pin cannot reach.

  3. Job photographs posted to the listing weekly

A routine for the crew to send site pictures, published to the profile with the town and the room named each time.

Result: The listing looks like a company that is busy this month.

  4. Reviews asked for with the town in them

Request wording that nudges a homeowner to name their suburb and the room, given at the final walkthrough while they are pleased.

Result: Your reviews say where you work.

  5. Listings made to agree everywhere

Name, address and phone matched across Google, Houzz, Angi, the BBB and supplier dealer locators, with the licence number shown where your state asks for it.

Result: Nothing online sends a homeowner to an old number.

  6. A monthly Maps report by town

Calls, direction requests and website clicks from the profile, broken out by the towns you serve, against the audit baseline.

Result: You can see which suburb is worth another page.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for remodelling and home improvement contractors

  1. 1

    Assess

The free audit goes through last year's enquiries. How many became a consultation, how many became a design agreement, and what happened to all the rest?

  2. 2

    Qualify earlier

A budget conversation on the phone, wording that is honest about what work in your market costs, and the design agreement explained before the visit.

  3. 3

    Show the work

Project photography, room by room pages, and a portfolio a homeowner can browse by style and by budget.

  4. 4

    Follow up for months

A written sequence for enquiries that are not ready, with a date against every one and nothing left to memory.

  5. 5

    Go back to past clients

Completed projects contacted about the rooms still undone, and referrals asked for at handover instead of hoped for.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

We run the business from home. Should we list the address?
Hide it and set a service area instead. A service area business can keep the address private, and a residential pin shown publicly reads badly to homeowners. You still rank around the pin, so where you are based matters.
How do we rank in the wealthy suburb forty minutes away?
With finished projects there, a page about that town and reviews from its residents. Maps will not carry you that far on its own. Build two jobs there, photograph them, ask for the reviews, and the page starts working.
How do we ask about budget without scaring people off?
Give a number first, then ask. Say what the kitchens you build in this market start at, then ask whether that is the range they had in mind. It gets an honest answer far more often than asking what their budget is. The people who walk away at that point were never going to sign.
Should we charge for design?
Most remodellers should, once they have a portfolio worth paying for. A design fee filters out the shoppers and pays for the drawings, and crediting part of it against the build makes it easier to accept. If you are new and have little to show, free design may still be buying you the work you need to photograph.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
