Remodelling and home improvement contractors · Social media

A homeowner saves the post in March and calls you in September.

Social media for a remodelling company is where a homeowner gathers ideas for a year before ringing anybody, mostly on Instagram, Pinterest and Houzz. GullySales turns each finished project into a run of progress posts and saved ideas, then answers the messages those bring.

A community noticeboard under a small pitched roof, posters layered four deep, with a fresh notice just pinned over the corner of an older one

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For remodelling and home improvement contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Saves matter more than likes here

A homeowner planning a kitchen saves the post and comes back to it months later. What gets saved is a real room in a house like theirs, not a quote over a sunset.

  • Demolition day gets more attention than the finished photograph

People watch a wall come down and a floor go in. A progress series carries one project for six weeks, and the finished shot is the payoff rather than the whole post.

  • Houzz is a shopping site wearing social clothes

Ideabooks and saved projects there sit beside a directory listing homeowners are already using to shortlist. The same photograph does different work on Houzz and on Instagram.

What we do

What we deliver for remodelling and home improvement contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A photo routine the crew will actually follow

What to shoot on demolition day, mid-build and at handover, sent to one place from a phone, with releases signed at the final walkthrough.

Result: The content exists without anybody driving back out.

  2. Project series instead of one-off posts

Each job posted as a run across the build, naming the room, the town and the problem it solved in the caption.

Result: One kitchen fills six weeks of the account.

  3. Pinterest and Houzz kept fed

The same photographs sized and published where homeowners plan, with boards and ideabooks organised by room and style.

Result: Your work reaches people a year before they call.

  4. Messages and comments answered on a rota

Agreed hours, saved replies for the price question and the timeline question, and every enquiry logged rather than left sitting in an inbox.

Result: The saved post turns into a phone call.

  5. A monthly report on enquiries, not followers

Saves, profile visits, messages and the enquiries traced back to them, reported against the baseline from the audit.

Result: You can tell whether the account is selling anything.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for remodelling and home improvement contractors

  1. 1

    Assess

The free audit goes through last year's enquiries. How many became a consultation, how many became a design agreement, and what happened to all the rest?

  2. 2

    Qualify earlier

A budget conversation on the phone, wording that is honest about what work in your market costs, and the design agreement explained before the visit.

  3. 3

    Show the work

Project photography, room by room pages, and a portfolio a homeowner can browse by style and by budget.

  4. 4

    Follow up for months

A written sequence for enquiries that are not ready, with a date against every one and nothing left to memory.

  5. 5

    Go back to past clients

Completed projects contacted about the rooms still undone, and referrals asked for at handover instead of hoped for.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we have to be on Pinterest?
If you sell kitchens and baths, it earns its place. Homeowners plan there for months and a pin keeps working long after it goes up. If your work is basements, additions or accessibility, put the hours into Instagram and Houzz.
Who should run the account?
Somebody on site takes the pictures and somebody off site posts and replies. Crews will not write captions and office staff cannot photograph a jobsite. Splitting it is the only version that survives a busy month.
How do we ask about budget without scaring people off?
Give a number first, then ask. Say what the kitchens you build in this market start at, then ask whether that is the range they had in mind. It gets an honest answer far more often than asking what their budget is. The people who walk away at that point were never going to sign.
Should we charge for design?
Most remodellers should, once they have a portfolio worth paying for. A design fee filters out the shoppers and pays for the drawings, and crediting part of it against the build makes it easier to accept. If you are new and have little to show, free design may still be buying you the work you need to photograph.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
