Remodelling and home improvement contractors · Search engine optimisation

Win the search that names the room, the town and the cost.

SEO for a remodelling company decides who a homeowner finds when they search for a kitchen remodel in their town and what it costs. GullySales builds a page for each room and each town you work, and gets your own projects ranking instead of your Houzz profile.

For remodelling and home improvement contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Cost is the search, and most remodellers refuse to answer it

A homeowner types what a kitchen costs in their town months before calling anybody. A page giving a range and explaining what moves it earns the enquiry a photo gallery never does.

  • Your directory profile outranks your own website for your own name

Houzz and Angi rank easily and your site does not, so a homeowner who liked your work reads about you somewhere you pay for. Fixing that is cheaper than buying the same lead twice.

  • A bathroom search ignores your kitchens

Somebody planning a primary bath will not scroll a mixed gallery looking for one. Kitchens, baths, additions and basements each need a page carrying their own projects and their own range.

What we do

What we deliver for remodelling and home improvement contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for every room you want to sell

Kitchens, primary baths, additions, basements and outdoor living, each with its own projects, its own cost range and the questions homeowners ask about that room.

Result: A bathroom search lands on bathrooms.

  2. Town pages for the suburbs you actually build in

A page per town or county you serve, naming the neighbourhoods, the permit office and the jobs you have finished there, instead of one page listing thirty cities.

Result: You show up in the suburbs your crews can reach.

  3. Cost ranges written to qualify rather than frighten

A range for each room with what moves it: the cabinetry level, whether plumbing gets relocated, structural work and the age of the house.

Result: Homeowners arrive knowing roughly what this costs.

  4. Project pages built round the story of the job

Every finished project written up with what the homeowner wanted, what changed on site, how long it took and which budget band it sat in.

Result: A homeowner recognises their own house and their own problem.

  5. The technical faults that keep galleries out of search

Heavy image files, missing headings and pages search engines cannot read properly, found and fixed so a photographed project can rank at all.

Result: The photography you paid for starts earning.

  6. A monthly report by room and by town

Positions, visits and enquiries for each room page and each town page, set against the baseline recorded in the free audit.

Result: You can see which room is worth writing more about.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for remodelling and home improvement contractors

  1. 1

    Assess

The free audit goes through last year's enquiries. How many became a consultation, how many became a design agreement, and what happened to all the rest?

  2. 2

    Qualify earlier

A budget conversation on the phone, wording that is honest about what work in your market costs, and the design agreement explained before the visit.

  3. 3

    Show the work

Project photography, room by room pages, and a portfolio a homeowner can browse by style and by budget.

  4. 4

    Follow up for months

A written sequence for enquiries that are not ready, with a date against every one and nothing left to memory.

  5. 5

    Go back to past clients

Completed projects contacted about the rooms still undone, and referrals asked for at handover instead of hoped for.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we publish prices?
Publish a range and what moves it, never a price list. Saying that the kitchens you build in this market start at a figure does the qualifying before anybody drives out. The homeowners who leave at that point were not going to sign anything.
How long before search brings us work?
Months, and the photography has to exist first. A page with four phone snaps will not outrank a competitor with a properly shot project and twelve reviews. Advertising is the better choice while the pages and the pictures are being built.
How do we ask about budget without scaring people off?
Give a number first, then ask. Say what the kitchens you build in this market start at, then ask whether that is the range they had in mind. It gets an honest answer far more often than asking what their budget is. The people who walk away at that point were never going to sign.
Should we charge for design?
Most remodellers should, once they have a portfolio worth paying for. A design fee filters out the shoppers and pays for the drawings, and crediting part of it against the build makes it easier to accept. If you are new and have little to show, free design may still be buying you the work you need to photograph.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
