Remodelling and home improvement contractors · Pay per click advertising

Stop paying by the click for homeowners who are building a Pinterest board.

Paid search for a remodelling company buys clicks from homeowners typing a room and a town, at prices set by every other contractor bidding on them. GullySales writes the ads, blocks the searches that drain the budget, and ties each click to whether anybody signed a design agreement.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend daily against enquiries received.

For remodelling and home improvement contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Plenty of remodelling searches are not homeowners

Students, suppliers, people looking for a job and homeowners hunting for a weekend tutorial all type the same words. The negative keyword list is the first week's work, before any bidding.

  • The click is expensive, so the phone has to be answered

Remodelling clicks cost more than most trades pay, and they reach voicemail while you are standing in somebody's kitchen. Agreed answering hours decide whether the budget produces anything at all.

  • The months to advertise are the months you are quiet

Homeowners plan a summer kitchen in the first weeks of the year, when your calendar still has room. By June you are bidding against everyone and booking into next season.

What we do

What we deliver for remodelling and home improvement contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A negative keyword list built in the first week

The searches that look right and are not: hiring, wholesale suppliers, weekend tutorials, cabinet refacing if you do not sell it, and rental property work.

Result: Your budget stops funding people who will never hire anyone.

  2. Campaigns split by room and by town

Separate budgets for kitchens, baths, additions and basements, and for the suburbs your crews can reach without an hour in traffic.

Result: You can switch off the room you have no capacity for.

  3. A landing page for each campaign

The kitchen ad lands on kitchens, showing that room's projects and cost range, with a form asking budget and timeline before anything else.

Result: The click you bought does not have to go hunting.

  4. Calls answered inside agreed hours

Who picks up, what gets asked, and the overlap hours when our team takes the call-backs, because a paid click that reaches voicemail is money gone.

Result: The phone stops being the weakest part of the campaign.

  5. Budget moved by month rather than left running

Spend raised through the planning weeks after the holidays and cut back once the build calendar is already full for the season.

Result: You advertise when you have dates to sell.

  6. Reporting to the design agreement

Each click followed through to the in-home consultation and the signed design agreement, by room and by town, against the audit baseline.

Result: You can name the campaign that paid for itself.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for remodelling and home improvement contractors

  1. 1

    Assess

The free audit goes through last year's enquiries. How many became a consultation, how many became a design agreement, and what happened to all the rest?

  2. 2

    Qualify earlier

A budget conversation on the phone, wording that is honest about what work in your market costs, and the design agreement explained before the visit.

  3. 3

    Show the work

Project photography, room by room pages, and a portfolio a homeowner can browse by style and by budget.

  4. 4

    Follow up for months

A written sequence for enquiries that are not ready, with a date against every one and nothing left to memory.

  5. 5

    Go back to past clients

Completed projects contacted about the rooms still undone, and referrals asked for at handover instead of hoped for.

Proof

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do ads work if we have no showroom and few reviews?
They work, and they cost more. A homeowner comparing three ads clicks the one with reviews behind it, so thin proof means you pay for the click and lose the call. Spend part of the first budget on photography and review requests.
Should we advertise every room?
Start with the one you want more of and can build profitably. Kitchens and primary baths carry the highest click prices because every contractor wants them. Basements, additions and accessibility work face less competition.
How do we ask about budget without scaring people off?
Give a number first, then ask. Say what the kitchens you build in this market start at, then ask whether that is the range they had in mind. It gets an honest answer far more often than asking what their budget is. The people who walk away at that point were never going to sign.
Should we charge for design?
Most remodellers should, once they have a portfolio worth paying for. A design fee filters out the shoppers and pays for the drawings, and crediting part of it against the build makes it easier to accept. If you are new and have little to show, free design may still be buying you the work you need to photograph.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
