Jewellery retailers · Follow up systems

Call her before the muhurat, not after the wedding shopping is done.

A follow-up system for a jewellery showroom deals with the buyer who walked out without ordering, the design quote that went quiet, and the booked order waiting on its balance. The date that matters is her occasion, not your diary. GullySales builds the capture at the counter and the calls that follow it.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What follow up systems means

A follow-up system is the set routine for calling, messaging or emailing an enquiry more than once, since most buyers do not decide on the first conversation. GullySales sets the number and timing of follow-ups so an undecided buyer keeps hearing from you until they decide either way.

For jewellery retailers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “You cannot follow up a visitor whose name nobody took”

Most showrooms lose the enquiry at the counter, not on the phone. Until the salesperson records a name, a number and the occasion for every serious browser, there is nothing to follow up.

  • “The follow-up date is her wedding date, worked backwards”

A bride buying for a date in two months needs a call now and again as the date nears. A call after the shopping is finished is a wasted one, however polite.

  • “A custom design quote dies in the wait for the goldsmith”

A made-to-order piece is quoted, then the customer hears nothing while the workshop estimates it. Tell her when you will call back and call then, even if the answer is that it is still being worked out.

What we do

What we deliver for jewellery retailers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Counter capture for every serious enquiry

A short slip or screen the salesperson completes with the name, number, occasion, date, budget band and designs shown.

Result: The store has somebody to call the next day.

  2. Follow-up scheduled against the occasion date

Calls and messages diarised backwards from the wedding, engagement or festival date the buyer gave, rather than on a fixed interval.

Result: You reach her while she is still buying.

  3. A chase routine for booked orders awaiting balance

A named person following each booking through the balance payment and the delivery date, with the customer told what is pending.

Result: Fewer bookings sit half paid and half forgotten.

  4. Evening and Sunday message cover

An agreed owner for messages that arrive after closing and on the busiest shopping day, so nothing waits until the next morning.

Result: The enquiry that came in at nine at night is answered.

  5. An agreed point at which the calling stops

An agreed number of attempts, after which the buyer moves to a list contacted only at the next festival, with the reason recorded.

Result: Nobody is chased into irritation, and nobody is forgotten.

How the result is measured

  • Follow-up completion rate
  • Average number of follow-ups before close
  • Enquiries closed after repeat follow-up

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. 01 · First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. 06 · At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for jewellery retailers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at how your showroom is found for bridal and festive searches, how fast WhatsApp design enquiries are answered, and what last festival season's campaign actually produced.

  2. 2

Fix the profile and the reply

Google Business Profile and Maps listing kept current for every showroom, and a WhatsApp routine for design and price enquiries.

  3. 3

Build the pages that get searched

Pages for bridal collections, diamond jewellery and gold rate transparency, written for the questions a buyer actually asks before a visit.

  4. 4

    Plan the festive calendar

Campaigns built ahead of Akshaya Tritiya, Dhanteras and the wedding season, with the enquiry desk staffed for the spike.

  5. 5

Bring buyers in and keep them

Local search, Google Ads timed to the season, and a referral and exchange-reminder routine for past bridal customers.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Our salespeople say asking for a number puts customers off. Is that true?
Asked as an interrogation at the door, yes. Asked at the end of a design conversation, so you can send her the pictures of what she liked, most buyers give it willingly. The pictures are the reason she agrees.
How often should we follow up a bridal enquiry?
Work from her date rather than a fixed rhythm. A call when a new collection lands, one when she asked to be told about a rate movement, and one as the date approaches is usually enough. Beyond that you are pushing.
How far ahead should we plan for a festival like Akshaya Tritiya?
At least six to eight weeks, so the pages, the ad budget and the enquiry desk are ready before the search volume rises. Planning the week before means missing most of the spike.
Do we need Google Ads or just SEO?
Ads for the festival and wedding-season spikes when you need showroom footfall in a fixed window; SEO for buyers researching months in advance. Most jewellers use both around the calendar.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
