Jewellery retailers · Buyer journey

A bridal purchase starts on a phone in month one and ends at your counter in month five.

The buyer journey for a jewellery retailer is the long path from a saved design to a booked order: screenshots, family opinions, a shortlist of showrooms, a price question on WhatsApp, then two visits. GullySales maps where your buyers fall away and puts a named action at each of those points.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What buyer journey means

The buyer journey is the sequence of steps a customer actually takes, from first hearing about you to deciding to buy, which is rarely a single visit or call. GullySales maps this sequence for your business and checks that something useful happens at each step instead of only at the final call.

For jewellery retailers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “She arrives with a screenshot, not with a blank mind”

By the first visit the buyer has saved designs from Instagram and decided her weight and budget band. The salesperson who asks what she is looking for, instead of asking to see the picture, restarts a journey that was nearly finished.

  • “The family joins between the first visit and the second”

The first visit is often the bride and her mother. The second brings the father or the in-laws, because the amount is settled at home. Nothing is designed for that second audience, and that is where the order is lost.

  • “The gold rate sets the date, not your campaign”

A family that has decided on a set waits for a dip in the rate or for an auspicious date. Knowing the wedding date lets you call in the week that matters instead of the week your offer runs.

What we do

What we deliver for jewellery retailers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. The journey mapped from saved design to delivery

Each stage written down for your own store, from the first search or Instagram save through the enquiry, the shortlist, the visits, the booking and the final fitting.

Result: You can point to the exact stage where buyers stop.

  2. Drop-off points identified with a named owner

The unanswered evening message, the visit that ended without a name taken, the booking that stalled at the balance payment, each with a person responsible.

Result: A leak has somebody accountable for closing it.

  3. Counter capture of the occasion and the date

A short form the salesperson fills for every serious enquiry, recording the occasion, the date, the budget band and the designs shown.

Result: The follow-up call knows what she came in for.

  4. Content built for the second visit

Pages and printed sheets that answer the questions the father and the in-laws ask: hallmarking, the HUID, the exchange terms and how making is worked out.

Result: The family decision is made with your answers in the room.

  5. Enquiry sources traced to the showroom visit

Tracking that connects a search, an Instagram message or a call to the visit and the order it became.

Result: You can see which stage of the journey your spending actually helps.

How the result is measured

  • Drop-off rate by step
  • Time from first contact to sale
  • Steps with no content

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these jewellery retailers.

  • Bridal and wedding jewellery showrooms
  • Gold and diamond jewellery retail chains
  • Silver and artificial jewellery stores
  • Certified diamond and solitaire retailers
  • Traditional and antique jewellery stores
  • Single-showroom family jewellers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. 01 · First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. 06 · At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for jewellery retailers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at how your showroom is found for bridal and festive searches, how fast WhatsApp design enquiries are answered, and what last festival season's campaign actually produced.

  2. 2

Fix the profile and the reply

Google Business Profile and Maps listing kept current for every showroom, and a WhatsApp routine for design and price enquiries.

  3. 3

Build the pages that get searched

Pages for bridal collections, diamond jewellery and gold rate transparency, written for the questions a buyer actually asks before a visit.

  4. 4

    Plan the festive calendar

Campaigns built ahead of Akshaya Tritiya, Dhanteras and the wedding season, with the enquiry desk staffed for the spike.

  5. 5

Bring buyers in and keep them

Local search, Google Ads timed to the season, and a referral and exchange-reminder routine for past bridal customers.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How long does a bridal jewellery decision really take?
Most families start looking well before the wedding and decide in the last few weeks, once the date and the budget are fixed. The store that stayed in touch through the quiet middle stretch is the one she returns to.
Where do we lose most buyers?
Between the first visit and the second. She leaves to consult the family, nobody has taken her name or her wedding date, and the store has no way to reach her. Capturing that at the counter changes more than any campaign.
How far ahead should we plan for a festival like Akshaya Tritiya?
At least six to eight weeks, so the pages, the ad budget and the enquiry desk are ready before the search volume rises. Planning the week before means missing most of the spike.
Do we need Google Ads or just SEO?
Ads for the festival and wedding-season spikes when you need showroom footfall in a fixed window; SEO for buyers researching months in advance. Most jewellers use both around the calendar.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
