Our welders are skilled, and buyers still ask who will vouch for the joint.

A buyer cannot see inside a weld. They judge it by who made it, how it is checked and whether the shop will stand behind it. Welding work wins on evidence of control, which most shops have on the floor and nowhere on the page.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Fabricators inspect laser-cut panels and bent metal enclosures

In one paragraph

Welding in fabrication is the joining of metal parts by fusion, using methods such as MIG, TIG and arc, to make assemblies, frames and pressure-bearing or load-bearing parts. GullySales helps welding shops show their processes, welder qualification and inspection practice, and win job-work and assembly orders from buyers who need the joint to be trusted.

Who it is for

This is written for you if welding is what you make or sell.

  • Welding job-work shops serving machine builders and fabricators
  • Shops with MIG, TIG and arc welding for mild steel, stainless and aluminium
  • Units welding frames, tanks, trolleys and machine bases
  • Owners wanting repeat assembly orders and less one-off repair

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A shop that cannot say who its welders are or how weld quality is checked
  • A unit that wants to market pressure vessel or code welding without the qualifications for it

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of welding.

  1. Process and material match

The buyer asks whether you weld the material by the right process, such as TIG for thin stainless and MIG for heavier mild steel. Mixing these up loses trust.

  2. Welder qualification

For some work a buyer asks for qualified welders and a documented procedure. The page states what is held, and says plainly what is not.

  3. Inspection and testing

Visual inspection, dye penetrant or other tests may be requested. Which you do, which you arrange, and who pays are stated early.

  4. Distortion and fit-up

Welded frames pull. A buyer asks how you control distortion and whether you machine after welding.

Where orders are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell welding.

In the words owners use on the first call.

  • “We weld well and get paid for hours”

Welding is priced by the day or the kilo, and the care that goes into the joint is not part of the quote. The skill becomes invisible.

  • “A weld fails and the story is told for years”

One failure at a customer travels. We have no inspection record or procedure to point to in our defence.

  • “Good welders leave and take the customers”

A skilled welder sets up on his own and the customer follows. The shop has nothing in writing that belongs to the business.

What we do

What you get for welding.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A welder register in plain terms

Welders by process and material, with qualification held and tests passed. It gives the buyer a name for the skill.

  2. An inspection routine sheet

What is checked after welding, by whom and how it is recorded. It turns judgement into a process.

  3. A weldment gallery with notes

Frames, tanks and bases with the material and the distortion control used. It shows the work and the thinking.

  4. A fixture and fit-up page

How parts are held and checked before and after welding. It addresses the distortion question directly.

  5. A short brochure for machine builders

Processes, capacity and inspection on two sides of a page. It travels in a purchase department as a reference.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries for welded assemblies
  • Quotation requests with a drawing
  • Follow-up on each quotation
  • Trial assemblies ordered
  • Repeat orders
  • Inspection records shared with buyers

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before we talk.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Welding equipment list and processes
  • Welder names, experience and any qualifications held
  • Materials and thickness welded regularly
  • Photographs of finished weldments
  • Inspection steps followed now
  • Customers who buy welded assemblies

Export and new regions

Selling welding beyond your home market.

Where you sell decides standards, documents, payment terms and freight. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new region we start from your own enquiries, your existing buyers and the directories you already use.

  1. Welded assemblies for overseas buyers

Frames, bases and small tanks reach overseas through machine builders who export. Your existing customers' export markets are the place to look first.

  2. Weld documentation

Overseas buyers may ask for procedure and welder records. What applies to your work is confirmed with the buyer and your adviser.

FAQ

Questions about selling welding.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do I show weld quality on a website?
With the inspection routine, welder details and photographs of finished joints. A buyer cannot judge a weld from a picture, but can judge a shop that records and checks.
Can I say my welding meets a code?
Only if it does and you can show the qualification. Otherwise describe what you do and let the buyer ask. A wrong claim of compliance does more harm than a modest page.
How do I stop losing customers when a welder leaves?
Keep the relationship with the buyer in the business: a named contact, a customer record and a drawing file. The welder may leave, but the account stays with the shop.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on what is being changed and how many of the people who matter see it. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever the work touches, such as your profiles, your website or your accounts, and time with the people who can answer our questions.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.
