Personal care brands · Digital marketing

Spend online where her search, her cart and her reorder happen.

Digital marketing for a personal care brand is one plan for the product page, the marketplace listings, search, social, creators and the WhatsApp reminder that brings a customer back. GullySales sets the order of work for your range, names who runs each channel and reads results against orders and reorders instead of followers.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For personal care brands

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The ad lands on a listing with no reviews”

Traffic arrives at a page with three ratings and a pack photograph taken on a desk, and the shopper buys the brand beside it that has plenty.

  • “Every product goes live at once”

The ad budget is split across the whole range, and no single product gathers enough reviews or orders to show what works.

  • “Nobody owns the second order”

All the money goes on finding new buyers, and the woman who finished her first bottle in May hears nothing more from the brand.

What we do

What we deliver for personal care brands.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel order for your range

The hero product page and listings first, then search and creators, then the second-order reminder, then the rest of the range.

Result: The first rupee goes where orders start.

  2. One hero product carried to proof

One or two products taken to real reviews, good photographs and a visible repeat rate before others are pushed behind them.

Result: The brand has something that sells itself to the next buyer.

  3. A named owner for each channel

Listings, search ads, social and the trade broadcast each given to one person, in house or outside, with what is due before each season.

Result: Nothing waits on the owner's free evening.

  4. A reorder reminder that she agreed to

A WhatsApp or email note timed to when a bottle runs out, with a reorder link, sent only to buyers who opted in.

Result: Customers are asked back by the brand, not left to a marketplace.

  5. Tracking that separates trial from repeat

Each order tagged by how it arrived, and second orders counted by customer from your own order sheet.

Result: You see which channel brings people who stay.

  6. Results against the baseline

Orders, repeat purchases, reviews, listing rank and retailer enquiries set against the figures recorded before work started.

Result: You can tell a busy month from a profitable one.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where to start for this trade

Do these in order before paying for reach, and record what each one produced.

The hero product page
Ingredients, use, who it suits, patch test advice and a buy button on your own site. Record which pages visitors read before ordering and where they leave.
Hero product on a marketplace or quick commerce app
Start with the hero product on Amazon, Nykaa or one quick commerce app in one city. Match title, pack size and photographs to the label, and record orders, ratings and returns by product.
A store locator, and a Business Profile if you run a shop
List the shops that stock you with their phone numbers, and set up a Google Business Profile for any brand store you run. Note calls and direction requests.
Search ads on your brand and product names
Bid on your own name and the hero product's name in a separate budget, so a buyer finds you ahead of a reseller. Count only orders left after returns.
Creators and short video
Add one or two creators who show real use, with a code each. Judge them on orders traced to the code, not on views.
What to leave until later
A television advert, a mobile app, the whole range on every marketplace and a large creator campaign. Wait until the hero product repeats and its reviews have built.

This is written for these personal care brands.

  • Soap, bath and body brands

  • Face wash, skincare and sunscreen brands

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for personal care brands

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where the product sells, which outlets reorder, what the reviews say about skin and hair reactions, and how trade enquiries are answered.

  2. 2

    Check the claims

Every line on the pack, the listing and the ads is read against your licence and test reports, and doubtful words go to your adviser before anything is printed.

  3. 3

Build the shelf and the listing

Product pages, offer sheets and listings written from the label, so a shopper and a chemist both find what they came to check.

  4. 4

Open channels one at a time

Chemists, a new district, salons or a marketplace, added in the order your stock, cash and reorder records can carry.

  5. 5

    Track the second purchase

Reorder tracking, review replies and seasonal packs based on who bought again, not on who followed the page.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we do this in house or hire an agency?
In house works while one person can post, reply and check orders. An agency helps with planning and ads once the work outgrows that person. In both cases keep the accounts, the product data and the customer list under your own name.
Which channel should a small budget go to first?
To the one where someone already searches for the product: your own page, then a marketplace listing for the hero product. Add paid search on your brand name and creators after reviews build. A small budget spread across five channels teaches you nothing from any of them.
How do we tell what worked from our own records?
Tag every order with how it arrived: a code, a link, a marketplace or a chemist. Count second orders by customer from the order sheet. A channel that brings first orders and no repeats is worth knowing about, and not yet worth more money.
Do ads and organic posts work together?
They do when they say the same thing. Run ads for the products that reviews already support, and let posts and creator videos answer questions in the comments. Compare orders with and without ads over the same period before judging either.
Do we need a licence before we market a soap or a cream?
Cosmetics and Ayurvedic products are both regulated, with rules on licences, labels and claims that differ by product and change over time. Check yours with a regulatory consultant or your contract manufacturer before you print a pack or write a listing. We ask for the licence and test reports at the start, so no copy goes out that the file cannot back.
Should we sell on Nykaa and Amazon before we go to chemists?
Start where your buyer already searches. A hair oil for older buyers moves through chemists and kirana shops, and a serum for younger buyers moves on marketplaces. Pick one channel, let reviews or reorders build, then add the next. Opening everywhere together splits your stock and your attention.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
