Personal care brands · Reputation management
Answer the review that says it made her skin burn.
Reputation management for a personal care brand is how you read, answer and learn from what buyers write about a product that goes on skin and hair, on marketplaces, Google and social media. GullySales sets the reply for each kind of review, routes reaction reports to your quality people and asks happy customers for reviews in the way platform rules allow.
A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What reputation management means
Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

Sales and marketing for personal care brands, the overview.

For personal care brands
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“A reaction review gets a pasted apology”
Someone writes that her face stung, and the brand replies thank you for your feedback. The next shopper reads a company that did not listen.
“A look-alike seller earns your one-star reviews”
A copy of your pack sold by a stranger draws a bad review, and the rating lands on your own listing.
“Nobody tells the manufacturer”
Three buyers mention the same smell, a leaking cap or a changed texture. The comments stay on the marketplace and the batch keeps selling.
What we do
What we deliver for personal care brands.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
A reply for each kind of review
Written answers for reaction, did-not-work, look-alike, damaged and praise reviews, in the language the reviewer wrote in.
Result: Every reply sounds like a person who read the review.
A route for reaction reports
Any review or message that mentions a rash, a burn or an allergy copied to one named person with the product, the batch number and what was said.
Result: Your quality team hears about it from you first.
A routine for look-alike and wrong sellers
Counterfeit packs and unauthorised sellers reported through the platform's own brand route, with the evidence kept.
Result: Bad reviews meant for a copy stop landing on you.
A review request that follows the platform rules
A card in the carton and a message after delivery asking every buyer, not only the pleased ones, with the platform's current rules checked first.
Result: Reviews grow from honest buyers.
Packaging and batch fixes fed back
Repeated complaints about caps, leaks or smell passed to the manufacturer with batch details, and the fix recorded.
Result: The same review is not written twice.
Ratings read by product
Star rating, the words buyers repeat and reply times by product and by platform, set against the starting figures.
Result: You see which product is losing stars and why.
How the result is measured
- Average rating
- Response time to reviews
- Negative mentions resolved
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
What to do with each review
How to answer the reviews a personal care brand gets, and what to fix behind each.
- It burned or caused a rash
- Reply once and politely. Advise her to stop use and see a doctor, and ask for the order number and batch by message. Do not argue, blame her skin or offer anything in return for removing the review.
- It did not work for me
- Thank her, say what the product is made for and what it is not, and ask how she used it. Never promise a result. Note it if several buyers expected something the pack never claimed.
- Fake or duplicate pack, not the original
- Ask for the seller's name and a photograph of the pack, report the listing through the platform's brand route and point to where genuine stock is sold.
- It leaked or arrived damaged
- Apologise and offer a replacement through the platform's own process. Pass the batch and the courier to whoever handles packing, since a cluster means a packing fault.
- Praise with a photograph
- Thank her by name and ask permission before reusing her picture. Never pay or reward her for the review, and check the platform's current rules on reviews.
- A review that names a rival or has nothing to do with the product
- Reply politely and stay on your own product. Report anything abusive or false under the platform's rules. Removal is the platform's decision and cannot be promised.

Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
- You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
- You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.
How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Free audit call
90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.
After the call
Written, scored report
Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
How the work runs for personal care brands
- 1
Assess
We look at where the product sells, which outlets reorder, what the reviews say about skin and hair reactions, and how trade enquiries are answered.
- 2
Check the claims
Every line on the pack, the listing and the ads is read against your licence and test reports, and doubtful words go to your adviser before anything is printed.
- 3
Build the shelf and the listing
Product pages, offer sheets and listings written from the label, so a shopper and a chemist both find what they came to check.
- 4
Open channels one at a time
Chemists, a new district, salons or a marketplace, added in the order your stock, cash and reorder records can carry.
- 5
Track the second purchase
Reorder tracking, review replies and seasonal packs based on who bought again, not on who followed the page.
Proof
What happened when owners fixed this.
Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.
SB Engineering
- Situation
- Buyers searching for laser cutting and sheet metal work in Bengaluru were finding other suppliers first, because the company did not rank for the terms its own customers type.
- What we did
- The site redesigned for mobile
- Search work on the buyer's terms
- Content that shows the work
- Social channels managed
- Result
- Website traffic rose 60% within six months, against a target of 50%.
- High-quality leads rose 45%, with a rise in conversion rates alongside them.
- Fifteen target keywords moved up the rankings, five of them into the top three positions.
HOPO Hardware
- Situation
- There was no website or online platform of any kind, so nothing showed the products, their features or their technical specifications. A dealer who wanted a specification had to ask for it every time.
- What we did
- Website and product catalogue
- Logo and colour palette
- Printed stationery
- Social accounts opened
- Result
- No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
One office, and we say so
Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.
#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.
