Vocational training institutes · Search engine optimisation

Be the page that answers when a student types the trade, the town and the fee.

Search engine optimisation (SEO) for a vocational training institute decides whether your course pages appear when a student or parent searches for a trade course in their own town. GullySales builds a page for every course and every centre, and fixes the site faults that keep those pages out of results.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For vocational training institutes

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The student searches the trade, not your institute”

Searches such as electrician course after 10th in Bengaluru or Tally with GST classes near me name a trade and a place. A homepage with a slider of every course matches none of them.

  • “Listing sites hold the page you should own”

Course directories show your fees and syllabus copied from an old brochure, and sit above your own site. Your page has to say more, and say it correctly.

  • “Course pages that are a name and a phone number”

A page with a title, a duration line and a call button gives a search engine nothing to read and a parent nothing to decide on.

What we do

What we deliver for vocational training institutes.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each course and batch type

What is taught, the tools used, who can join, the certificate, and whether the batch is morning, evening or weekend, each on a page of its own.

Result: A student searching a trade lands on that course.

  2. A certificate and assessment page

Who issues each certificate, how the assessment works and what the certificate looks like, written as it appears on the document.

Result: A parent checking legitimacy finds the proof on your site.

  3. A page for each centre, only where you teach

Address, route by bus or metro, workshop photographs, batch timings and the courses taught at that centre.

Result: A student in that locality sees a centre they can reach.

  4. A fee and instalment page

Course fee, registration, exam and kit charges, instalment dates and refund terms for the current batch.

Result: The question people phone to ask is answered on the page.

  5. Site faults cleared before the post-results rush

Slow pages weighed down by event photographs, PDF brochures in place of pages, duplicate course pages and forms that email an old address.

Result: A good course page is no longer held back by the site around it.

  6. Search visits traced to walk-ins

The enquiry form and the walk-in register both ask how the student found you, so visits, calls and paid seats can be set against the baseline from the audit.

Result: You see which course pages are filling batches.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What a student or parent types before choosing a training centre, and the page that should answer it.

Electrician course after 10th in Bengaluru
A course page stating who can join after Class 10, what the practical work covers and which certificate is issued. Show the wiring boards and tools the batch will use.
Tally with GST course near me
A page naming the Tally version taught, the GST filing practice, batch timings for working adults and the fee. Evening and Sunday timings decide it for a working adult.
Beautician course with certificate
A page that says who issues the certificate, shows students' practical work with their permission, and lists the bridal and hair modules separately so each can be found.
AC and refrigeration mechanic course
A page covering gas handling, tools and site visits, with the pre-summer batch date shown. Link it to the electrician course, since the same students compare both.
Mobile repair course with practical training
A page showing chip-level and software work in the lab and what each student repairs. Say plainly whether they take a toolkit home.
Is our institute's certificate valid
A page listing the issuing body, the assessment and the employers who have taken your trainees, with their agreement. Families and employers search this before they pay.

Who it is for

This is written for these vocational training institutes.

  • Computer and IT skill institutes teaching DCA, hardware and networking, and Tally with GST
  • Electrician, plumbing, AC and refrigeration, and solar installer training centres
  • Mobile phone repair and CCTV installation institutes
  • Fashion designing, tailoring and beauty academies
  • Healthcare skill centres for nursing assistants and lab and X-ray technicians

  • Hospitality, retail and security-service training centres
  • Training partners running government-funded or CSR-funded batches

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for vocational training institutes

  1. 1

    Audit the last batch cycle

We trace where last cycle's students came from, how quickly the desk replied, how many visited and how many paid, using your admission register, call log and fee receipts.

  2. 2

Fix the register and the reply

One enquiry record for every source, a fee sheet every counsellor uses, and saved WhatsApp replies for batch dates, certificate and instalments.

  3. 3

Rebuild the course and certificate pages

A page per course with eligibility, tools, fee and the issuing body, and a page on tie-ups written from what employers have agreed.

  4. 4

Bring students in before the batch starts

Search, Business Profile, social and local outreach set up ahead of each course's season, with budget moved towards whatever produces workshop visits.

  5. 5

Follow through to the second instalment

Each enquiry followed to a paid seat or a clear no, and each new student followed through the first fortnight, measured against the baseline.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should every course have its own page, or one page listing them?
Its own page. Students search an electrician course and a Tally course separately, and each has a different fee, batch and certificate. Keep one overview page that links to every course so a family comparing two can move between them.
Do we need a blog?
Not before the course, fee and certificate pages are right. After that, a few answers to what students ask, such as ITI versus a private electrician course or what Tally with GST covers, earn their place. Ask your trainers to supply the substance.
Students search in Kannada or Hindi. Do we need pages in those languages?
For the courses most students from small towns choose, yes. Write the page in the language they speak at home, with the course name in English as it appears on the certificate. Have a trainer read the translation, not a plugin.
Listing sites show wrong fees for us. Can we get them corrected?
Most let an owner claim the listing and edit it, or send a correction request. Start with the sites that appear when you search your own centre name. An old fee on a site you ignore costs admissions, so correct it or ask for removal.
Can we promise a job after the course?
No. Say what the centre does: interview preparation, employers who have visited and the trainees they took, each named only with their agreement. Rules on placement claims differ by regulator and state and change, so check with a legal adviser before printing a line about jobs.
Our certificate is our own, not a government one. Do we have to hide that?
Do not hide it. Say whose certificate it is, what was assessed and which employers have accepted it. Families trust a plain statement more than a vague word like certified, and a claim that the certificate carries more weight than it does costs you at the first employer interview.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
