Vocational training institutes · Reputation management

Answer the placement and fee complaints a parent reads before signing the form.

Reputation management for a vocational training institute is how the reviews, ratings and complaints about your centre look to a family comparing training places. GullySales sets up a routine for replying to every review, fixing what the review exposes inside the centre, and asking satisfied students honestly.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For vocational training institutes

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A job promise becomes the first review”

A student joined expecting an offer letter at the end, did not get one and wrote that the centre cheated. A parent who reads that skips the rest.

  • “A refund dispute is public and one-sided”

The student writes angrily about a deposit. The centre knows the terms were explained at admission, and says nothing.

  • “Happy students never post”

A trainee who now works as an electrician is not scrolling reviews. The page shows complaints and the batch that left in the first year.

What we do

What we deliver for vocational training institutes.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A reply to every review

Praise thanked without private detail, complaints answered once in a calm voice, with an offer to talk and nothing argued in public.

Result: A parent sees an institute that listens.

  2. A review log tied to the cause

Each complaint recorded with its cause, such as attendance, trainer absence, equipment, certificate or placement, and who will fix it.

Result: Reviews show where the centre must change.

  3. A placement statement the centre can defend

A plain page on what the centre does for job-readiness and which employers have interviewed trainees, with permission.

Result: A complaint about jobs meets a statement the centre stands behind.

  4. A refund and terms note given at admission

The fee, instalments and refund terms on one signed page, kept in the student's file.

Result: A dispute is settled from the paper, not from memory.

  5. A review request routine

A moment at the end of the course, a link and a QR code, asked of everyone and never of the satisfied only.

Result: The page reflects the full batch.

  6. Reviews and ratings counted against the baseline

Number, recency and rating on Google and the directories, compared with the baseline from the audit.

Result: You see whether the page is moving the right way.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to do with each review

How to reply to the reviews a training institute gets, and what to fix behind each one.

Praise from a student who found work
Thank them by first name and mention the course. Do not add details of their job or pay. Pass the praise to the trainer named, and ask whether you may feature the story.
I was not placed
Reply once, without arguing, and offer a call with the centre head. Inside, check what was said about jobs at admission and in writing. Never claim removal of the review.
Refund or deposit dispute
Say you will look at the file, not that the student is wrong. Check the signed terms. If a refund is due, pay it. A fair reply to a hard review shows a parent how you behave.
Trainer absent or batch changed
Acknowledge the lost classes and say what has been arranged. Then fix the cause, whether a trainer leaving or a room clash, before the next batch starts.
A review in Kannada, Hindi or Tamil
Reply in the language of the review. Families checking the centre read replies, and a reply in their language says someone read it.
A review that looks fake
Report it through the platform's own process, with your reasons, and reply once calmly if it stays. Do not write fake reviews against a rival, and never offer payment or gifts for reviews.

Who it is for

This is written for these vocational training institutes.

  • Computer and IT skill institutes teaching DCA, hardware and networking, and Tally with GST
  • Electrician, plumbing, AC and refrigeration, and solar installer training centres
  • Mobile phone repair and CCTV installation institutes
  • Fashion designing, tailoring and beauty academies
  • Healthcare skill centres for nursing assistants and lab and X-ray technicians
  • Workshop trades such as welding, CNC and VMC operation and two-wheeler mechanics
  • Hospitality, retail and security-service training centres
  • Training partners running government-funded or CSR-funded batches

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for vocational training institutes

  1. 1

    Audit the last batch cycle

We trace where last cycle's students came from, how quickly the desk replied, how many visited and how many paid, using your admission register, call log and fee receipts.

  2. 2

Fix the register and the reply

One enquiry record for every source, a fee sheet every counsellor uses, and saved WhatsApp replies for batch dates, certificate and instalments.

  3. 3

Rebuild the course and certificate pages

A page per course with eligibility, tools, fee and the issuing body, and a page on tie-ups written from what employers have agreed.

  4. 4

Bring students in before the batch starts

Search, Business Profile, social and local outreach set up ahead of each course's season, with budget moved towards whatever produces workshop visits.

  5. 5

Follow through to the second instalment

Each enquiry followed to a paid seat or a clear no, and each new student followed through the first fortnight, measured against the baseline.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we ask students to review the centre?
Yes, all of them, at the end of the course, and with no reward. Offering discounts or gifts for reviews, or asking only happy students, breaks the platform's rules. Check the platform's current rules and ask the whole batch.
A review says our certificate is not valid. How do we reply?
State plainly who issues the certificate, what it is and is not, and invite the person to call the head. If the review is right that the certificate was oversold, fix the website and the counsellor script the same week.
A trainer is named in a bad review. What do we do?
Speak to the trainer privately before replying publicly. Reply to the substance, not the person, and say the centre is looking into it. Keep the trainer's side in writing. Do not post their name or a disciplinary detail.
Should we reply to reviews from students who did not attend?
Reply once, politely, saying you cannot find the record, and ask them to contact the centre with their batch and course. If the review is from someone who never studied, report it to the platform with your records.
Can we promise a job after the course?
No. Say what the centre does: interview preparation, employers who have visited and the trainees they took, each named only with their agreement. Rules on placement claims differ by regulator and state and change, so check with a legal adviser before printing a line about jobs.
Our certificate is our own, not a government one. Do we have to hide that?
Do not hide it. Say whose certificate it is, what was assessed and which employers have accepted it. Families trust a plain statement more than a vague word like certified, and a claim that the certificate carries more weight than it does costs you at the first employer interview.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
