Vocational training institutes · Pay per click advertising

Pay for the student choosing a trade course, not the one looking for a job.

Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising for a vocational training institute means paying Google when someone searching for a course clicks your advert. GullySales builds campaigns by course, blocks the job-seeker searches that never enrol, and sends each click to a page that matches what was searched.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend daily against enquiries received.

For vocational training institutes

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Job seekers click and nobody enrols”

Searches like electrician vacancy or ITI jobs near me look close to a course search. The click costs the same and the person wants a job, not a classroom.

  • “Free-training searches bring the wrong crowd”

People searching free government skill courses will not pay a fee, so a paid batch buys clicks that cannot convert. A funded batch wants them. The two need separate campaigns.

  • “The click lands on the homepage”

A student who searched AC mechanic course lands on a rotating banner and a list of every course, and goes back to the results.

What we do

What we deliver for vocational training institutes.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A campaign for each course

Tally, electrician, beautician and the rest each with its own keywords, adverts and start date, so spend follows the batch that needs students.

Result: Budget goes to the course with empty seats.

  2. A block list of searches that never enrol

Vacancy, salary, jobs, free, admit card and result searches blocked, and checked against real search terms as they arrive.

Result: You stop paying for people who wanted something else.

  3. A course page for every advert

One page per course with the fee, certificate, batch timings and a call and WhatsApp button, loading on an ordinary phone.

Result: The click lands on the answer to the search.

  4. Call and form tracking by course

Each call and form tagged with the advert and the course, with the counsellor noting whether it was a genuine enquiry.

Result: You count students who might enrol, not clicks.

  5. Advert hours matched to the desk

Adverts and call buttons shown when a counsellor can answer, with a form and a WhatsApp reply covering the other hours.

Result: Paid calls are not left ringing.

  6. Spend compared with paid admissions

Enquiries, workshop visits and paid seats from each campaign, compared with the baseline from the audit.

Result: You see what an admission costs from each course.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

Which searches are worth paying for when you teach a trade, and which only bring clicks.

Bid: course name plus your locality
Searches such as Tally course in Rajajinagar or beautician course near Nagarbhavi. The student has chosen a trade and is comparing nearby centres. Send the click to that course page.
Bid: course plus qualification
Searches such as electrician course after 10th or hardware networking course after diploma. The page should open with who can join and how soon the next batch starts.
Block: jobs, vacancy and salary
Anyone searching electrician jobs or salary wants a wage, not a classroom. Add these words as negatives and review the search terms report for new ones.
Block or separate: free and government courses
If your batches are paid, block free skill training. If you run a funded batch, give it its own campaign and page that follows the scheme's current rules.
Careful: rival institute names
Bidding on a rival's name is allowed in some places and not others, and invites a complaint. Check the platform's current policy, and put the budget behind your own course searches.
Where the click lands and what counts
Land on the course page, not the homepage. Count an enquiry only when the caller names a course and a batch, or the form says who is joining and when.

Who it is for

This is written for these vocational training institutes.

  • Computer and IT skill institutes teaching DCA, hardware and networking, and Tally with GST
  • Electrician, plumbing, AC and refrigeration, and solar installer training centres
  • Mobile phone repair and CCTV installation institutes
  • Fashion designing, tailoring and beauty academies
  • Healthcare skill centres for nursing assistants and lab and X-ray technicians
  • Workshop trades such as welding, CNC and VMC operation and two-wheeler mechanics
  • Hospitality, retail and security-service training centres
  • Training partners running government-funded or CSR-funded batches

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for vocational training institutes

  1. 1

    Audit the last batch cycle

We trace where last cycle's students came from, how quickly the desk replied, how many visited and how many paid, using your admission register, call log and fee receipts.

  2. 2

Fix the register and the reply

One enquiry record for every source, a fee sheet every counsellor uses, and saved WhatsApp replies for batch dates, certificate and instalments.

  3. 3

Rebuild the course and certificate pages

A page per course with eligibility, tools, fee and the issuing body, and a page on tie-ups written from what employers have agreed.

  4. 4

Bring students in before the batch starts

Search, Business Profile, social and local outreach set up ahead of each course's season, with budget moved towards whatever produces workshop visits.

  5. 5

Follow through to the second instalment

Each enquiry followed to a paid seat or a clear no, and each new student followed through the first fortnight, measured against the baseline.

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we bid on our own institute name?
Only when a rival or a listing site is bidding on it. Your own page should already be first for your name. Read the search terms report for a few weeks and decide on the evidence, not a rule.
Are call-only adverts worth it when counsellors are busy?
They suit a centre where someone is always at the desk, because a missed paid call is a wasted click. If the desk runs out of hands during admissions, use a form and a WhatsApp button, and call back from the record.
Can we say placement in our adverts?
Say only what you can prove, such as employers who have interviewed your trainees. Advertising rules differ for education and training, change over time, and platforms reject adverts that overpromise, so have a legal adviser check the wording.
How do we tell which calls were genuine enquiries?
Have the counsellor mark each call as a course enquiry, a job seeker, a wrong number or an existing student. After a few batches that record shows which keywords bring students and which only bring noise.
Can we promise a job after the course?
No. Say what the centre does: interview preparation, employers who have visited and the trainees they took, each named only with their agreement. Rules on placement claims differ by regulator and state and change, so check with a legal adviser before printing a line about jobs.
Our certificate is our own, not a government one. Do we have to hide that?
Do not hide it. Say whose certificate it is, what was assessed and which employers have accepted it. Families trust a plain statement more than a vague word like certified, and a claim that the certificate carries more weight than it does costs you at the first employer interview.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
