Vocational training institutes · Social media

Post the practical work, because a student believes the workshop over the brochure.

Social media marketing for a vocational training institute is showing the work your students do, so a young person and the family behind them trust the centre before the first visit. GullySales plans what each platform carries, gets permission before a student appears, and links every post to a demo class or a visit.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For vocational training institutes

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Stock pictures of smiling graduates”

A graduation photograph says nothing about the course. A trainee wants to see another trainee's hands on a wiring board or a bridal hairstyle.

  • “The student and the parent are on different platforms”

The student watches reels and YouTube. The father reads Facebook and forwards what a relative shared on WhatsApp. One post rarely reaches both.

  • “Student work posted without asking”

A finished garment or a face goes up on the page because it looked good. The student, or a parent of a minor, never agreed.

What we do

What we deliver for vocational training institutes.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A platform plan by course

Instagram for beauty and fashion, YouTube for electrical and repair trades, Facebook for parents, with what each carries written down.

Result: Each audience sees posts meant for it.

  2. Student work with signed permission

A short form covering photographs, video and reuse, signed by the student and by a parent where needed, and filed with its date.

Result: Students' work can be shown, and the centre is covered.

  3. Short videos from the workshop

A trainer showing a fault found and fixed, a bridal look built in stages, a stitching technique, shot on a phone where the work happens.

Result: A student sees the skill before enrolling.

  4. Posts built around the batch calendar

Start dates, demo class days, last seats and open days written ahead of each intake instead of posted in a panic.

Result: The busiest week does not leave the quietest page.

  5. Comments and messages passed to the desk

Questions about fees, timings and eligibility from comments and direct messages logged as enquiries with the platform named.

Result: A question in the comments becomes a callback.

  6. Posts traced to visits

Tagged links and a source question at the desk, compared with the baseline from the audit.

Result: You can drop the platform that fills no seats.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Platform for this buyer

Where students and parents look at a training centre, and what each platform should carry.

Instagram reels, for beauty and fashion courses
A look built from start to finish, a stitching technique or a student's first client. The one action wanted is a message asking for the next demo class.
YouTube, for electrical, repair and workshop trades
A trainer finding a fault, a student wiring a board, an inverter or AC tested. Put the course page link and the batch date in the description.
Facebook, for parents and small-town families
Plain posts on fees, instalments, certificates and the next batch, written for a parent reading on a phone. The action wanted is a call to the desk.
Local WhatsApp Status and community groups
A one-image batch announcement with the centre's number, shared where neighbours already talk about courses. Post only where the group's admin allows it.
What not to post
A student's face or certificate without permission, a placement list with names you cannot back, a banner promising jobs, or a public reply to a refund complaint.

Who it is for

This is written for these vocational training institutes.

  • Computer and IT skill institutes teaching DCA, hardware and networking, and Tally with GST
  • Electrician, plumbing, AC and refrigeration, and solar installer training centres
  • Mobile phone repair and CCTV installation institutes
  • Fashion designing, tailoring and beauty academies
  • Healthcare skill centres for nursing assistants and lab and X-ray technicians
  • Workshop trades such as welding, CNC and VMC operation and two-wheeler mechanics
  • Hospitality, retail and security-service training centres
  • Training partners running government-funded or CSR-funded batches

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for vocational training institutes

  1. 1

    Audit the last batch cycle

We trace where last cycle's students came from, how quickly the desk replied, how many visited and how many paid, using your admission register, call log and fee receipts.

  2. 2

Fix the register and the reply

One enquiry record for every source, a fee sheet every counsellor uses, and saved WhatsApp replies for batch dates, certificate and instalments.

  3. 3

Rebuild the course and certificate pages

A page per course with eligibility, tools, fee and the issuing body, and a page on tie-ups written from what employers have agreed.

  4. 4

Bring students in before the batch starts

Search, Business Profile, social and local outreach set up ahead of each course's season, with budget moved towards whatever produces workshop visits.

  5. 5

Follow through to the second instalment

Each enquiry followed to a paid seat or a clear no, and each new student followed through the first fortnight, measured against the baseline.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which trainer should be on camera?
The one who explains well and does not mind it, not the most senior. Students watch for what the trainer shows, not the title. If the trainer leaves, take down videos that name them or ask for their written permission first.
A comment asks the fee in public. Do we answer there?
Answer the general part in the comment, such as that fees vary by course and instalments are available, and invite the person to message or call for the exact figure. A public fee with no batch or date attached gets quoted back a year later.
A student posted a reel of our workshop on their own account. Can we share it?
Ask in writing first and credit them. If the student is under 18, ask a parent too. Keep the reply with its date, since people sometimes change their minds and want the post removed.
Do we post for every festival?
Only where something happened at the centre, such as an Ayudha Puja at the workshop or a Diwali orders rush at the tailoring batch. A greeting card with the logo gives a student nothing and pushes the useful posts down.
Can we promise a job after the course?
No. Say what the centre does: interview preparation, employers who have visited and the trainees they took, each named only with their agreement. Rules on placement claims differ by regulator and state and change, so check with a legal adviser before printing a line about jobs.
Our certificate is our own, not a government one. Do we have to hide that?
Do not hide it. Say whose certificate it is, what was assessed and which employers have accepted it. Families trust a plain statement more than a vague word like certified, and a claim that the certificate carries more weight than it does costs you at the first employer interview.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
