Show a family what a stay or a course of treatment is like before they decide.

A family has spent weeks in one hospital, or years with one complaint, and is now looking for something longer and slower. The brother rings to ask what a day looks like, what the doctor will do, and when the patient may come home. The answer, given by someone who has explained it before, decides whether the family visits.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Realistic editorial illustration of hospitals at work in India

In one paragraph

Psychiatric, rehabilitation, Ayurveda and homeopathy hospitals treat patients over weeks or months, through long consultations, therapy and inpatient stays. A family chooses them on trust and on knowing what the days will look like. GullySales looks at the first call, the pages that describe the stay, and what happens after discharge.

The four trades follow different medicine and different law. A psychiatric hospital meets a family after a crisis, a rehabilitation hospital meets them at a discharge desk, and an Ayurveda or homeopathy hospital meets patients who have tried other treatment first. What they share is a treatment measured in weeks, a decision that the family finishes at home, and a patient who leaves and has to be kept to the plan.

4 kinds of business

Each kind of business in mental health, rehabilitation & traditional medicine hospitals sells a little differently.

Open the page closest to yours for how its buyers choose and what we would fix first.

Psychiatric hospitals

Families call quietly after a crisis. A discreet first call, calm pages on admission and a route for referring doctors and counsellors count for more than reach.

Rehabilitation hospitals

The choice is made while the patient is still in another hospital, so a discharge desk pack and pages on what a week of therapy looks like reach the family and the referring team.

Ayurveda hospitals

Stays can run a week or more, so pages must show a hospital with registered physicians, say what an inpatient stay involves and make the cost clear before arrival.

Read the page for ayurveda hospitals

Homeopathy hospitals

A long consultation for a long-standing complaint is invisible to anyone who has not sat through one, so the listing, condition pages and a review-date record show what a visit is, within what the rules allow.

What they share

What usually goes wrong across mental health, rehabilitation & traditional medicine hospitals.

Whichever of these you run, you will probably recognise most of them.

  • “A family cannot picture what a stay or a course involves”

Admission, a week of therapy, an inpatient Ayurveda stay and a long homeopathic consultation are strange to anyone who has not been through one. Where nothing is written, the family guesses or looks elsewhere.

  • “Our website speaks in our own vocabulary”

Clinical terms, equipment lists, disease lists and talk of old wisdom mean little to a worried relative. The words the family used when they searched do not appear.

  • “The family visits or calls once and decides at home”

After one call or one tour there is silence, and nobody here rings. The family who needed one more answer chose by default.

  • “The people who point a family to us cannot describe what we do”

A doctor, a counsellor, a discharge team or a relative recommends us in a sentence. If that person has not seen how we work, the recommendation is vague.

  • “Patients leave and the plan stops”

After discharge or the first course, the follow-up consultation, therapy, diet or review date depends on the patient remembering. We hold no record of who is due.

  • “We are unsure what we may say in public”

Rules on advertising and on patient privacy apply to each of these hospitals. The result is pages that say little, which leaves families guessing.

Where to start

What to fix first in mental health, rehabilitation & traditional medicine hospitals.

In the order we would look at them. Your own enquiry records may change the order, and we would say so.

  • Write a plain page on what a day, a week or a stay looks like, covering who the doctors are, the daily routine, who may visit and what to bring.
  • Rewrite the website in the words a family uses when it searches, and explain every clinical or traditional term the first time it appears.
  • Record every call and visit with the date and the next step, and assign each family that has not decided to a named person who rings.
  • Prepare a short sheet for doctors, counsellors, discharge teams and past patients that says in plain terms whom the hospital treats and how a family begins.
  • Record the follow-up date for every patient at discharge, with consent to be contacted, and give each due date to a person who calls.
  • Check the wording of every page against your own council, registration body and adviser, and write down what you have decided you may say.

FAQ

Questions about mental health, rehabilitation & traditional medicine hospitals.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What can these hospitals say about results?
Rules differ by state and by the body that registers the hospital, and they cover Ayurveda and homeopathy as well as mental health. Claims of cure or success are risky. Check with your own council or adviser first.
How should a psychiatric hospital handle privacy in its marketing?
Treat every enquiry and every patient as confidential, never publish a story without written consent, and keep the first call discreet. Mental health law also sets rules for admission, so check yours.
How do you write about a stay without making it sound like a holiday?
Describe the doctors, the registration and the daily routine of the stay, and say what is treated and what is not. A clear account of the hospital's work separates it from a retreat.
Is it right to follow up with a family that did not book?
A call from a named person is reasonable when the family left details and agreed to be contacted. Say who is calling and why, accept a no, and do not ring again after one.
How do we get doctors and discharge teams to know us?
Offer a short sheet and a named person to call, and invite the team to see the hospital. Let the doctor decide whom to refer, and never pay or promise anything for a referral.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever the work touches, such as your profiles, your website or your accounts, and time with the people who can answer our questions.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
