Manufacturing · Casting & Foundry

We make the patterns, cores and consumables a foundry needs, and the foundries nearby buy from whoever they already know.

A foundry owner buys these items from the person who supplies them already. A new pattern shop or a new binder supplier has to give a foundry a reason to change in the middle of a busy month.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Foundry inspectors examine cooled metal castings and mould patterns

In one paragraph

Foundry components are the supplies and tooling a foundry uses to cast: patterns, core boxes, filters, moulding sand and binders, ladles, crucibles, refractories and fettling tools. GullySales helps makers and suppliers of these items reach foundry owners and production heads who reorder when stocks run low.

The customer here is a foundry, and the product usually has a trial. The sale is closed on the shop floor, so the work before that is getting a trial agreed.

Who it is for

This is written for you if foundry components is what you make or sell.

  • Pattern and core-box makers serving foundries in a cluster
  • Suppliers of crucibles, refractories, ladles and filters
  • Makers of moulding and fettling tools and sand-testing equipment
  • Suppliers of binders, coatings and other foundry chemicals made by the shop

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A trader who has no way of testing or explaining the product to a foundry
  • A supplier of products that need a licence or safety clearance the firm does not hold

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of foundry components.

  1. A trial batch on the shop floor

The foundry tries the product in a heat or two and watches the result. A supplier who arranges the trial and returns to ask how it went is ahead.

  2. Who uses it, who buys it

The moulder or furnace operator judges the product; the owner or purchase head pays. The page and the call must speak to both.

  3. Delivery and credit

A foundry that runs out of a consumable stops. Reliable delivery and the credit terms matter as much as the rate.

  4. Pattern accuracy and fit

For pattern makers, the buyer checks the first pattern against the drawing and the first mould. A re-work policy is asked about.

Where orders are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell foundry components.

In the words owners use on the first call.

  • “Foundries buy from the supplier they have always used”

A new supplier has to arrive with a reason and a trial. A catalogue alone does not shift an established habit.

  • “We make one product and the foundry needs five”

Foundries prefer fewer suppliers. A narrow range limits the order size.

  • “We do not know which foundries are active”

Many foundries are small and unlisted. Without a list, calling on them depends on the sales person's memory.

What we do

What you get for foundry components.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A foundry prospect list

Named foundries by cluster and metal, with the product they likely need.

  2. A trial offer sheet

What the trial covers, what it measures and how to reorder.

  3. Listings by use

Entries that match how a foundry searches.

  4. A trial follow-up routine

Each trial has a date for the next call.

How the result is measured

  • Trials requested and completed
  • Quotations followed up
  • Trials converted to a first order
  • Repeat orders per foundry
  • New foundry clusters reached
  • Dealer enquiries

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before we talk.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Products you make or stock and their uses
  • Current foundry customers and what they buy
  • Trial results from the past, if recorded
  • Clusters you can deliver to
  • Prices policy for dealers, kept private

Export and new regions

Selling foundry components beyond your home market.

Where you sell decides standards, documents, payment terms and freight. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new region we start from your own enquiries, your existing buyers and the directories you already use.

  1. Foundries abroad that import consumables

Some buy through distributors in their own country. Your existing export enquiries will show if you reach them through agents.

  2. Safety data and shipping of chemicals

Binders and coatings carry shipping rules. Check them with your freight adviser before quoting.

FAQ

Questions about selling foundry components.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do we get a foundry to try a new supplier?
Offer a small trial with clear terms, and ask the moulder or furnace operator what they will judge it on. The owner agrees faster when the shop floor is satisfied.
Is IndiaMART useful for foundry supplies?
It can be, if listings are written by use. A foundry searching for a crucible for aluminium melting finds a page that names the use.
Should we appoint dealers in other foundry towns?
Only if you can supply them reliably and support a trial. A dealer with no support sells nothing twice.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on what is being changed and how many of the people who matter see it. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever the work touches, such as your profiles, your website or your accounts, and time with the people who can answer our questions.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.
