GullySales

Personal branding · C-suite and senior leaders

You spent four years polishing the brand and your own page is a placeholder.

For a marketing leader this is the one presence you never get around to building: your judgement on record, in front of the board that questions your budget and the people you want to hire. GullySales supplies the deadline and the drafting, and you supply the thinking.

Where this sits

For CMOs and marketing heads

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The budget argument is settled before the meeting

Your board decides how much marketing is worth partly from how seriously it takes the person running it. That impression is formed between meetings, out of things you have no hand in.

  • The vendors pitching you are better known than you are

The agency in the room has a podcast, a newsletter and three people who speak at conferences. You approved their fee and they own the category conversation you are paying to be part of.

  • Your next role starts with somebody who has read you

Marketing leaders change companies more than most functions do, and the good moves begin with a person who already knows how you think. A campaign case study inside a deck does not reach them.

  • The language of your category is written by suppliers

The words your buyers use to describe the problem come from vendors selling into it. The person with the actual customer evidence is you, and you have published none of it.

What we do

What we deliver for CMOs and marketing heads.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A profile that shows judgement, not a list of campaigns

What you were hired to fix, what you chose not to do, and the kind of marketing you will not run. Campaign credit stated honestly, including whose it was.

Result: A chief executive or a recruiter reads a decision-maker rather than a portfolio.

  2. One hour a month, and it is not yours to skip

A call about a campaign that failed, a channel you shut down, or what the last round of customer interviews changed.

Result: Your own thinking finally leaves the internal deck it has been sitting in.

  3. A written position on your category

One long argued piece on how buying actually happens in your market, drawn from your own research and from what your sales team hears on calls. Revisited whenever the evidence moves, rather than replaced by another post.

Result: Peers and buyers start quoting you instead of the agency that publishes more.

  4. Case material your legal team can pass

What you may claim about results, drafted against what the company has already disclosed and marked where a number needs approval. Your legal team and your CEO pass it or cut it, not us.

Result: Proof you can use in an interview or on a panel without a phone call afterwards.

  5. Your marketing team made visible

Profiles for the performance lead, the content lead and the brand manager, with the work credited where it belongs.

Result: Hiring gets easier, because good marketers join teams they can already see.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries that name you or came through your profile
  • Searches for your name, from Search Console
  • Profile views and connection requests from your industry
  • Speaking invitations, press enquiries and podcast requests
  • Posts published against posts planned, and what held up the rest

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for CMOs and marketing heads

  1. 1

Work out whether this is even your bottleneck

The audit call covers how enquiries reach you today. Plenty of owners come asking for this and leave with a report saying the company's own site is the weaker link, and that comes first.

  2. 2

Search your own name with you

We look at what a buyer sees today: every profile, old listing and photograph. Some of it you will want taken down, and some of it only you can take down.

  3. 3

Agree what you will and will not say

The subjects you know cold, the ones that belong to your clients, and the lines your regulator or association draws. Written down before anything is published.

  4. 4

    Rebuild the profiles

The bio page, LinkedIn and the directories that matter in your field, done once and done properly.

  5. 5

    The monthly rhythm

Interview, drafts, your approval, publication. The interview is the only part that needs you, and it is the part that cannot be skipped.

  6. 6

    Hand it over

The subject list, the drafting notes and the calendar are yours. Plenty of owners keep it running themselves after a few months, and that is a fair outcome.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

All case studies
  • Bon Millette

    Situation
A new food brand has to look trustworthy before anyone will try it, and Bon Millette had nothing online for a first-time buyer to weigh up.

    • A site that matches the food
    • The story in a trust-building order
    • Product sections with full disclosure
    • A short path from reading to buying

  • France Fox

    Situation
Eco claims are common enough in menswear that buyers discount them on sight. France Fox had a real production story and nowhere to set it out, which is the wrong way round.
    What we did
    • A website built for a launch
    • Social designs and captions
    • Print for the launch
    • One tone at every touchpoint

  • Kalessi

    Situation
Tiles are chosen by eye. There was no store suitable for a buyer who wants to scroll through finishes on a phone, compare two of them and then order.

    • A store built for browsing
    • Search work from the ground up
    • Social accounts opened and kept up

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

I do this for a living. Why would I hire someone for my own?
Because you will not do it. Your own presence is the file that never gets opened, behind the campaign, the board pack and the agency review. What you are buying here is a fixed slot in the calendar and somebody to draft, and the judgement stays yours.
Will my CEO think I am building a platform to leave?
Some will, so tell them first and frame it around hiring and category credibility, which are both company outcomes. Naming your team in the work helps more than anything you could say in that conversation.
Can my content writer do the interview instead of me?
They can sit in. They cannot replace you, because what makes this worth reading is the opinion you would only say out loud. If the hour will not survive contact with your quarter, put the money into demand generation and leave your name alone.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
